30W PEM Fuel Cell Stack Overview
This fuel cell is a sibling of the 30 watt fuel cell stack that is used in Horizon Educational’s H2GP program, which is a hydrogen fuel cell education initiative. The 30 watt fuel cell for the H2GP is perhaps the most tried and true product of all the entry-level fuel cell stacks that Horizon offers. At 30 watts it is an optimized solution for providing a clear sense of how well a low power prototype product will perform in commercial form while still being economical to purchase, and it is light enough to integrate into fuel cells for drones and other flying products.

Like other entry-level fuel cell stacks, the H-30 can be purchased without any supporting components. However, Horizon Educational recommends contacting us to build an easy-to-use package in order to facilitate incorporation of the product into your project. Safety Requirements
Do not connect or disconnect power cables when the fuel cell stack is turned on. Warranty is void if the fuel cell stack is disassembled or otherwise altered. Hydrogen is a colorless, odorless, and flammable substance. Always operate and store the fuel cell stacks and hydrogen storage canisters in an area with ample ventilation. Fuel cell systems should always be equipped with a highly accurate hydrogen sensor to detect any leaking hydrogen within the system or from the hydrogen storage canister. Hydrogen Storage Tip
The best way to supply hydrogen to this fuel cell is using our Hydrostik Pro! Hydrostiks are a great way to store hydrogen safely and economically, and the best part is that they can be filled using our HydroFill Pro electrolyzer! Our electrolyzer is able to extract a large amount of hydrogen from a small amount of de-ionized or distilled water.
