Many electrochemical processes have been made viable due to the advent of well-dispersed, high surface area electrocatalysts like Platinum Black. The new process by which it is produced provides an outstanding, high-purity catalyst that is well-known for being amenable to forming highly uniform electrode structures.
We offer this product in quantities of 1, 5, or 10 grams.
Suggested Uses
The Platinum Black catalyst is commonly used for in Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cells (PEMFC), Direct Methanol Fuel Cells (DMFC), Microbial Fuel Cells (MFC), and Phosphoric Acid Fuel Cells (PAFC) as either the cathode catalyst and/or the anode catalyst. You will also be able to use it as a recombination catalyst for hydrogen elimination. Platinum on Vulcan can also be used as a building block for sensor elements.
